Posted the

Nearly 100 years after the discovery of the tomb of the pharaoh Tutankhamun, the mystery and allure remains intact. The daring archaeologists, the inviolate tomb, the character of the boy king emerging from the dim mists of time and, of course, the legend of the curse that horrified an awestruck world. This exceptional exhibition has all the ingredients to immerse you in the world of Ancient Egypt. Absolutely unmissable!
Tutankhamun; an extraordinary exhibition
Egypt will soon have a new museum where all the artefacts found in the tomb of Tutankhamun will be exhibited. Until then, they are on a world tour that brings them to the Grande Halle de la Villette, Paris from March 23rd to September 15th. This exhibition features some 150 pieces, including the gilded beds of Tutankhamun, his sarcophagus, one of two guardian statues that stood sentinel at the entrance to his tomb and many pieces of furniture. Some of these items have never been displayed outside Egypt.
An amazing staging
Tutankhamun regained his place in history due to the dramatic circumstances of his tomb’s discovery. The involvement of two dashing figures, the financier Lord Carnavon and the archaeologist Howard Carter, initial disappointments and the miracle of the discovery of this intact tomb made it a real-life adventure to rival any fictional tale. To recreate the drama, the exhibition uses light and sound effects and a presentation that gives each visitor the impression of discovering these awe-inspiring artefacts themselves. Book your no-queue pass today as there is sure to be a record attendance!
Tutankhamun will be the leading exhibition of 2019. Book your stay at the Hotel Doisy Etoile today to enjoy Paris and its extraordinary cultural events.
